Adam and Steve were the best of friends.

Drinking buddies, they hung out 24/7 on the streets of a large city.

Unfortunately, both had fallen on hard times.

One day, Adam collapses in Steve's arms for no apparant reason.

Steve was losing his best friend and there wasn't anything he could do about it.

Adam was gone and Steve had nothing else to live for so he decides he's going to drink the pain away.

Just went he had reached the end of his rope, a stranger handed him The Book of Hope.

Steve decided he needed to change his life but others wanted the "old" Steve back.

It wasn't easy but somehow Steve found the strength to face temptation head on.

Steve decides to walk away from the past towards a brighter future.

Steve let go and let God and decided to be baptized. He buried the old life to begin anew.

The Book of Hope was the best thing to happen to Steve. He hopes to see his old friend Adam in paradise someday.
